Fragments

“Fragment, a part broken off or detached, an isolated, unfinished, or incomplete part.”

This series is about the feeling of collapse or inconsistency perceived through changes experienced throughout our lives. These changes can be positive or not, they can affect our basic structure or not, but we know that they do not go unnoticed.

Fragments reflects the search for peace amid life’s inevitable disruptions. While it emphasizes the perception of collapse and inconsistency, it also subtly points to the resilience needed to find peace within these shifting moments. Peace is not simply the absence of change or turmoil; it is the state of reconciling with the fragments that life leaves behind. It is the act of accepting and integrating these pieces, understanding that they contribute to who we are, even when they make us feel unfinished or incomplete.

During our life journeys, we go through a number of challenges, testing our inner stability. Yet peace lies in recognizing these moments as essential parts of our story, whether they bring joy or pain. Fragments reminds us that peace involves acknowledging the marks life leaves on us and finding a calm resilience despite them.

Peace is, ultimately, the acceptance of being whole even in our brokenness. It is discovering harmony in imperfection and seeing that, even in moments of collapse, there is a potential for growth and inner serenity.
